Who is Simon Dell? Simon has been an early adopter of social media in 2005, with the growth of MySpace and in 2006 with his first Flickr account. Since then he has developed a strong understanding of how social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube work as well as how those using those networks interact and the type of content and information they're looking for. He's been asked to speak on numerous occasions about social media including for PriceWaterhouse Coopers and runs his own private training classes for businesses wanting to understand how it can be used successfully in their business. Originally hailing from London, Simon has 12 years of experience in consumer behaviour, trade promotions and strategic marketing from his time with Lion Nathan, Heineken Australia and through his own company, TwoCents. Despite graduating with a double degree from the University of Southampton in Law and Politics, Simon spent much of his early career in alcohol, where he developed an understanding of the strength of brands and branding, marketing and consumer behaviour.
